Professor Eddie has been training jiu jitsu since 1999. He started his martial arts journey at the age of 14 practicing the art of Judo in which he earned his black belt. During his judo career, he also studied Isshin-Ryu Karate. Professor Eddie eventually found Muay Thai in which he was able to incorporate this into his vast knowledge of the arts. It wasn't until 1999 that he was introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 18 years after starting Jiu Jitsu, Professor Eddie was awarded his black belt by Professor Paul Nava, who is a black belt under Professor Samir Chantre of Ares Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Bradley is a 3 stripe purple belt in brazilian jiu jitsu, and currently teaches the jiu jitsu fundamentals classes. Growing up in Hawaii, he dabbled in Karate as a child and Judo in high school. He began his jiu jitsu journey after graduating high school and continued throughout his Air Force career. While in the Air Force, he was able to train under the flags of Gracie Barra, Nova Uniao, Relson Gracie and Caique Jiu Jitsu.
Gio is a 2 stripe blue belt in brazilian jiu jitsu and has been with Professor Eddie for 6 years. Gio currently coaches the nogi fundamentals classes. He is one of the most active competitors at the academy.
3 time NAGA medalist, AGF medalist, Duel for Domination Division/Absolute winner, Warrior Challenge finalist, Mat2Win Superfight winner, Submission Hunter and IBJJF Nogi competitor.
